Medical AssistantOur 8-physician specialist office is seeking a dedicated and experienced full-time medical assistant to join our busy and fast-paced practice.Qualifications:Applicant must have great interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to multi-task while being well organized. The candidate must be a graduate of an accredited program for medical assistants and have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical setting. Dedication to providing excellent patient care. Preferably bilingual in Spanish. The candidate may need to work rotating Saturday mornings. The candidate must have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel in Bay Area. Full-time position offers paid time off, paid holidays, medical, dental and vision benefits. Salary is commensurate based on experience.Job Duties:Room patients in a timely manner, including but not limited to:PFT'sVS'sHistory with all medications pt. is taking.Fill out forms pt. needs (RX's, school forms, etc.)Have rooms stocked for MD/NP.Call prescriptions refills.Call patients back with MD/NP answers to questions and results to tests.Able to get medications that MD/NP need.Able to do treatments required by MD/NP.Able to anticipate needs of MD/NP.Triage position, able to schedule an appointment.Oral Challenge to food and medications.Patch Testing.Able to draw up & give IM and SQ injections.Able to treat and maintain a systemic/anaphylaxis.
