Technical Architect - Enterprise Data

Salary: $122,000 - 162,000 per year Requirements:

• We bring 10+ years of experience in enterprise solution architecture, data engineering, and software development.
• We hold a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Accounting, or a closely related field.
• We have a proven background designing end-to-end integrations, data platforms, and automation in large enterprise environments.
• We possess strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft Fabric, Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Data Pipelines, and the broader Microsoft ecosystem.
• We have deep experience with Power BI semantic models, datasets, dashboards, and reporting.
• We are highly proficient in DAX, Power Query, SQL, Python, and PySpark.
• We have demonstrated experience architecting ETL/ELT pipelines that integrate diverse sources into Azure Data Lake and EDW.
• We understand data modeling, normalization, metadata management, and enterprise data security.
• We have exposure to AI/ML, Copilot, GenAI, LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI API integration.
• We are familiar with SDLC, software quality practices, Jira, Git, and CI/CD.
• We have experience with SaaS or cloud ERP/CRM systems such as NetSuite, Salesforce, or SAP S/4HANA.
• We communicate clearly, manage stakeholders effectively, and solve problems with confidence.

• We define enterprise data architecture across Fabric, Data Lake, EDW, and analytics platforms.
• We design integration patterns for ingestion, transformation, and consumption.
• We create architectural flows and reference models.
• We establish standards for data modeling, metadata, lineage, and governance.
• We implement data validation, logging, monitoring, lineage, and role-based access control.
• We ensure compliance with enterprise security, confidentiality, and regulatory requirements.
• We drive platform cost efficiency, performance tuning, and operational excellence.
• We enforce architectural governance and adherence to standards.
• We collaborate with business stakeholders and source system teams to understand data needs.
• We translate business requirements into technical specifications and long-term architectural roadmaps.
• We review user stories and provide architectural guidance to development teams.
• We support QA and functional teams in defining testing strategies for new and existing features.
• We ensure delivered solutions align with business objectives and architectural direction.
• We integrate AI/ML models and GenAI capabilities into data products and workflows.
• We evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption approaches.
• We guide teams on responsible AI usage and integration patterns.
• We perform root cause analysis for data issues and identify improvement opportunities.
• We manage platform reliability, data quality, and governance processes.
• We define continuity strategies for all data and integration platforms, not just implementation details.
• We proactively identify architectural risks such as single points of failure, dependency bottlenecks, and data corruption exposure.
• We ensure every solution includes disaster recovery and continuity considerations from the outset.
• We design continuity across ERP, CRM, Data Lake, Fabric, and analytics systems so business processes remain functional during partial outages.
• We make sure teams know how to recover systems, where documentation is stored, and how to execute continuity plans.
• We ensure continuity plans satisfy audit and security requirements.
• We set clear standards for process adherence, development methodology, documentation, and delivery timelines for vendor-led work.
• We establish quality gates, review cycles, and acceptance criteria so vendor deliverables meet architectural and coding standards.
• We run regular checkpoints with vendor teams to monitor progress, surface risks, and maintain alignment with enterprise architecture principles.
• We provide technical direction to vendor engineers so solutions remain scalable, secure, and compliant with enterprise patterns.
