Travel Nurse RN - Telemetry - $3,013 per week

TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Marion, Illinois. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Telemetry Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 48 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel UNIT: Neuro MS/TELE RN MGR INTERVIEW Required Certs: Must have current active IL RN license (will accept an active temp IL License). AHA BLS, AHA ACLS and NIHSS. Minimum Experience REQUIRED: Two years of strong Med Surg/TELE, 1 travel assignment. Neuro experience required Float Requirement: Could float to the medical unit Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Every other weekend. Every other holiday. Charting Experience: Recent EPIC experience required Patient Population: Neuro and Neuro-Surgical patients – CVAs, elective back/neck surgeries, cerebral angiogram. General medical Skillset: Will also need to be comfortable taking medical overflow patients. NIHSS/dysphagia screen/strong Neuro assessments, basic tele interpretation, strict I’s & O’s/straight cath/Foleys, intitate/titrate heparin gtts., blood/blood product administration/venipuncture/blood cultures, NG tubes, indwelling drain management, stable gtts. (i.e. Protonix, Lasic, etc.). Must have strong assessment and critical thinking skills!
