About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Observation Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Evening Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 3 years of current/recent experience in Telemetry/Med-Surg required License: Active Registered Nurse license Certifications: Active BLS and ACLS required Must-Have: Current Epic EMR proficiency is required. Description: The RN will primarily work on the Observation unit. The RN will also be required to float to other Med-Surg units and possibly the Emergency Department if appropriately skilled and knowledgeable. The schedule consists of 36 hours per week with night shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM and every other weekend required. Taking call would be a rare occurrence. Candidates must be able to read Telemetry/BCRA; competency will be tested on day one. Immediate termination will occur if candidates cannot pass the competency test. Immediate termination will also happen if it is discovered candidates are not proficient in Epic. All requested time off must be disclosed at the time of application.
