Job Description: We are seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide compassionate care and support to our residents. As a DSP, you will play a crucial role in assisting individuals with daily living activities, promoting independence, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment. This position offers flexible hours, with the ability to work just two days per week and still be considered full-time. Job Location: We have various locations in and around Linn, Lane and Benton Counties. Our main office is downtown Corvallis, however our clients are in our residential homes, as well as their own homes.Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration.
- Support residents in achieving their personal goals and fostering independence.
- Provide companionship and engage residents in meaningful activities.
- Ensure a safe and clean-living environment.
- Document and report any changes in residents' conditions or needs.
- Collaborate with other team members to provide comprehensive care.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in a caregiving role preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to improving the lives of others.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Must pass a background check and have a valid driver's license.
