Small Community Hospital With Er Md Only At Night

Average daily census 7, 7 rooms, 7 beds. Patient age group - adults and geriatrics. Staffing ratios 1:2 all shifts - staffing ratios depend on ICU/SD patient ratio. Floating - step down, may float to the acute care if need arises. Every other weekend required. Medication system Pyxis Epic required. ACLS, BCLS, NIH required skills.

Required skills: interpretation & management of dysrhythmias, multi-system organ failure, GI surgery, accessing ports, arterial line management, blood product administration, central line care/management, PICC line management, starting IVs, continuous IV sedation, procedural sedation administration, titrate cardiac drips, titrate vasoactive drips, assist with chest tube insertion/removal, BiPAP, care of ventilated patient, CPAP, high flow nasal cannula, interpretation of ABGs, suctioning (ETT, NT), infection prevention, isolation precautions/use of PPE, phlebotomy, surgical wounds with drains/wound vac. 1 year minimum experience required. Unit does not accept 1st time traveler. No local travelers 50 miles or less. Scrub color navy.
