The Team You’ll Work With: The Mayor’s Office of Administrative Services is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operations of the Mayor’s Office and agencies under City Hall. Facilities, Construction Management and Operations is responsible for overseeing and managing facilities within all Mayor’s Office locations. Our priorities include but are not limited to space management, office seating, custodial needs, supply requests, records management, and mailroom and messenger service. Our goal is to ensure offices operate efficiently and effectively throughout Mayor’s Office campuses. The Problems You’ll Solve: The Mailroom messenger responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Ensure security of incoming/outgoing packages and supplies in the mailroom. - Track packages using FedEx and UPS. - Knowledge of sorting mail using a containment box. - Daily mail pickup/delivery to the post office. - Daily drop-offs to UPS and /or FedEx. - Mail delivery within the five boroughs. - Assist with office moves of boxes and materials About You: - You can commit to equity, effectiveness, and sustainability to guide our employees and provide City agencies with the critical resources and support needed to succeed. - You have a valid driver’s license. - You have knowledge of all 5 Boroughs via vehicle or train. Qualifications

Qualification Requirements 1. High school graduation or equivalent and three years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to duties described above; or 2. Education and/or experience which is equivalent to "1" above. Additional Information
