Customer Support Payload Integrator

Responsibilities and Qualifications

• Provide excellent customer service and account management to the Bigelow Space Operations clients
• Interface with customers in enablement of their space aspirations and the use of microgravity for science, production, and other business needs
• Define and facilitate payload needs with payload developers and engineering communities
• Act as a liaison between customer's payload, NASA, CASIS, and the spacecraft team to ensure all requirements are met
• Manage compliance of payload and spacecraft compatibility requirements and integrate with high level mission requirements
• Lead problem solving teams in support of the successful integration of the payload
• Direct experience with space payloads and/or spacecraft operations
• Five or more years’ experience working with space payloads and/or spacecraft
• Basic knowledge of sciences in the performance of payload integration
• Known relationships with Payload Developers, Implementation Partners, NASA and CASIS
• Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field of study

Experience with

• Verifications of payload requirements
• Electrical and mechanical unit integration
• Mission launch operations
• Writing test plans and procedures
• Establishing mission crew training for both ground and flight operations
