Registered Nurse – Critical Care

Schedule: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Assignment Details: Guaranteed Hours: 36.00 Contract Weeks: 13

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
• Acute care facility experience: Preferred
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification: Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification: Required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification: Required
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale certification: Required
• At least two years recent experience in the field: Required
• EPIC experience: Required

Responsibilities:

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
• Supervise and direct nursing staff activities and coordinate care with other disciplines.
• Collect, analyze, and evaluate relevant data pertinent to patient health.
• Develop and implement care plans, promoting health and a safe environment.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to provide optimal care.
• Participate in discharge planning and provide continuity of care.
• Delegate duties appropriately within the healthcare team.
• Provide health education and learning opportunities for patients and families.
