Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Trust Officer to manage a portfolio of trust relationships while providing technical expertise, compliance oversight, and client support. This role will play a key part in stabilizing and guiding a developing team, ensuring fiduciary responsibilities are met with precision and care. You will serve as a trusted advisor to clients while partnering internally to strengthen processes and elevate service delivery.

What You’ll Do

• Manage ~150 trust accounts including trusts, IRAs, and HSAs 
• Ensure compliance with fiduciary standards, regulations, and internal policies 
• Provide technical trust expertise to clients and internal stakeholders 
• Support, mentor, and help develop junior team members 
• Maintain strong client relationships and deliver high-quality service 

What You’ll Bring

• Experience in trust administration, estate, fiduciary, or tax-related roles 
• Strong understanding of compliance, regulations, and fiduciary responsibilities 
• Ability to manage client relationships with professionalism and clarity 
• Detail-oriented and process-driven mindset 
• Strong communication skills with clients, attorneys, and CPAs 

Preferred Background

• CPA with estate/trust tax experience 
• Attorney with estate planning exposure 
• Trust Administrator ready to step into a higher-level role 
• Banking professional with trust or wealth management exposure
