Williamsville Suburban   a skilled nursing facility located in Buffalo, New York, is looking to hire a skilled and reliable Painter to join our team of professionals. The Painter will be responsible for traveling to multiple nursing home facilities in the Buffalo area to paint and touch up various areas within the buildings. The role of the Painter is essential in maintaining a welcoming and homely atmosphere for residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform painting and touch-up tasks.
• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, patching, and sanding as needed.
• Apply paint and other finishes to a high standard, ensuring a professional and attractive appearance.
• Select appropriate paint and materials for each project, taking into consideration factors such as color, texture, and durability.
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance on painting equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with facility managers and staff to schedule painting projects with minimal disruption to residents and daily operations.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a secure work environment.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a painter in a professional or commercial setting.
• Strong knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and tools.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently while managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
