Litigation AttorneyPosition OverviewWe are seeking a Litigation Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling a variety of litigation matters, including motions, discovery processes, and depositions. This role is crucial in representing our clients and providing them with the highest level of legal counsel and advocacy.Key ResponsibilitiesRepresent clients in court proceedings and legal negotiationsDraft and file legal documents including motions and pleadingsConduct thorough legal research to support case strategiesManage the discovery process, including the collection and review of evidencePrepare for and conduct depositions, ensuring all necessary information is obtainedAdvise clients on their legal rights and optionsCollaborate with other legal professionals and support staff to build strong casesStay updated on relevant laws and legal trends affecting litigation practicesQualificationsJuris Doctor (JD)Active license to practice law in New York3+ years of experience Strong knowledge of litigation processes including motions, discovery, and depositionsExceptional research, writing, and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneouslyProven track record of successful case outcomesBenefitsWe offer a competitive salary for this position, ranging between $130,000 -$175,000 annually. We offer Medical, Dental, Vision and 401K plans. We have an annual standard of 1800 billable hours with 50 hours of pro bono service(treated as billable).
