The ideal candidate will have prior experience in an inpatient or long-term care facility and is capable of providing Activities of Daily Living such as helping patients with bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding, and recreational activities, as well as documenting care and taking vital signs. The successful candidate for this position enjoys working with individuals with special needs and having the opportunity to make a true difference in their lives.Responsibilities:Provide basic bedside care such as assisting the patient in moving to and from bed and ensuring that the patient's condition is monitored properly with consistent assessmentsAssist patients with dressing or bathing as directed by the supervising nurse.Observe patients and report changes to the nurseProvide basic support to convalescing patientsAssist with mobility exercises and range of motion activitiesQualifications:Completion of CNA certification program; Current California CNA certificationOne year CNA experience preferred, ideally experience with medically complex patientsCurrent in CPR for Healthcare ProviderAbility to effectively communicate with staff, residents, and familiesA reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approachThe heart of what we do is support and serve people with brain injuryConduct assessments, implement health care plans, and respond to changes of conditionCommunicate with the physician and external medical centers to ensure consistency of essential medical informationMonitor and ensure physicians orders are documented and carried out as prescribedCome join our amazing team of committed and caring professionals.
