General Manager

Bellecour, Gavin Kaysen’s French-influenced café and bistro in the North Loop neighborhood of Downtown Minneapolis, is looking for an experienced General Manager .

What You’ll Do

• Lead day-to-day front-of-house operations and set the standard for hospitality
• Coach and develop the management and service teams
• Oversee hiring, training, scheduling, and team development
• Lead service from the floor, managing pacing, guest experience, and problem-solving
• Partner closely with the kitchen and leadership teams to ensure smooth operations
• Manage special events, menu changes, and other service initiatives
• Maintain strong operational and administrative systems, including POS, menus, reporting, and employee documentation
• Ensure consistently high standards across service, presentation, and restaurant operations

What We’re Looking For

• Meaningful restaurant management experience, ideally in a high-quality, full-service environment
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• A genuine passion for hospitality and developing people
• Calm, thoughtful, and solutions-oriented under pressure
• Hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable leading from the floor
• Excellent judgment and ability to balance guest, team, and business needs
• Evening and weekend availability, with flexibility to support the café and broader business as needed

• Paid Time Off (PTO), in accordance with Minnesota's Earned Sick and Safe Time law, is accrued at a rate of 1 hour per 30 hours worked and is available for use as soon as it is accrued.
