Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 12-Hour Shifts | Minimum 4 weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday) and 2 Friday shifts per 6-week block | One 12-hour on-call shift required per 6-week schedule | 72 guaranteed hours biweekly (on-call hours not included)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Labor & Delivery unit, supporting vaginal births, VBACs, and Caesarian sections
• Manage and monitor high-risk obstetric patients throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum phases
• Float between Labor & Delivery and Postpartum units as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams in a tertiary, high-risk clinical environment including a Level III NICU
• Respond to on-call assignments as scheduled within the 6-week block rotation

Required Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license required at time of submission
• Current ACLS, NRP, and BLS certifications required
• Demonstrated tertiary and high-risk Labor & Delivery experience required
• Postpartum (PP) experience required due to potential floating between units
• Prior travel nursing experience required (first-time travelers will not be considered)
• Must not reside within 50 miles of the facility (local travelers will not be accepted)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic electronic health records system
• Familiarity with Level III NICU workflows and high-acuity neonatal environments
