Echocardiographer / Echo Technologist

Location: Cumming, GA

Duration - 13 Weeks
Schedule: Varies, typically between 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Echocardiographer / Echo Technologist to perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound procedures in a hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Echocardiography and be comfortable working a variable schedule.

• Perform diagnostic echocardiographic examinations according to established protocols.
• Obtain high-quality cardiac ultrasound images for interpretation by physicians.
• Prepare patients for procedures and explain the examination process.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment appropriately.
• Ensure accurate patient identification and documentation.
• Review images for quality and completeness.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other members of the healthcare team.
• Follow infection control, safety, and patient-care standards.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience as an Echocardiographer/Echo Technologist.
• Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program .
• RDCS or CCI certification required.
• Registered or registry eligible .
• AHA BLS certification required .
• Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and echocardiography techniques.
• Excellent patient-care and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

• Typical hours may fall between 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Schedule may vary based on department requirements.
