Step into a key role providing essential psychological services for students across several elementary and middle schools in the Fort Worth area. This contract position runs from August 10, 2026, through May 21, 2027, offering an opportunity to work face-to-face with students and educators to foster supportive learning environments. You will play a pivotal role in the assessment and support of students with Autism (AU), Emotional Disturbance (ED), and Other Health Impairments (OHI), including ADHD.

Qualifications and Experience Sought:

• Active License Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) or Associate School Psychologist Credential from the Board of Examiners of Psychologists
• Previous school-based experience preferred
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is highly desirable
• Able to provide on-site services (virtual not available)
• Strong background in evaluations, direct service delivery, and completing FBAs/BIPs
• Adaptability to work across five schools, primarily at the elementary level, with some middle school assignments
• Collaborative skills to interface with teachers, administrators, and families

Responsibilities Include:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations for special education eligibility
• Implement and monitor Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP)
• Deliver direct psychological interventions to students as needed
• Consult with educational staff and provide recommendations for student support and intervention strategies
• Maintain precise and compliant documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
• Offer guidance and training to staff regarding psychological supports
