Summary:

**Years of Experience Required:**- 1 year of experience (MSI)**Certifications Required:**- BLS (Basic Life Support)- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)**Skills Required:**- Telemetry- Telemetry on the unit monitoring- Titrate Cardiac drips- Accessing/Managing Ports- Blood Product Administration- Central line care/management- Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI)- Feeding tube care and management- Heparin Protocols- Interpretation of dysrhythmias- Isolation Precautions/PPE- Management of dysrhythmias- Nasal Cannula- Pacemakers/Temporary/Permanent- PCA (Patient-Controlled Analgesia)- PICC line management- Renal failure- Starting and maintaining IVs- Use of Rapid Response/Code teams- Wound Care/Wound Vac**Charting System Experience:**- Preferred experience with Epic**Patient Ratio Experience:**- 1:5**Float Requirement:**- Regular floating may be required between departments, units, and facilities as needed**License:**- Travelers need both Kansas and Missouri or compact license in hand at time of submission. Pending licenses are not accepted.**Other Requirements:**- Experience with adults and geriatrics in a community hospital setting with a focus on post cath patients.
