Full-time | $65,000–$75,000 annually, based on experience
Añejo Tribeca is seeking a hands-on Assistant Restaurant Manager who loves hospitality, leads confidently on the floor, and follows through on the details.
Our restaurant combines Mexican food, an extensive agave selection, and a lively dining experience. Working closely with the General Manager, you will help lead daily service, coach the front-of-house team, and make sure every guest feels welcomed and cared for.
What you will do
Lead service and confidently run shifts, including opening and closing.
Maintain a visible presence on the floor, supporting hosts, servers, bartenders, and support staff.
Build guest relationships and resolve concerns with warmth and sound judgment.
Lead preshift meetings and reinforce service, menu, beverage, and uniform standards.
Train and coach employees, holding the team accountable respectfully and consistently.
Support scheduling, staffing adjustments, timecard review, and labor management.
Oversee cash handling, closing reports, and accurate documentation of comps and incidents.
Communicate clearly with the kitchen, General Manager, and ownership.
Follow through on checklists, shift reports, and assigned responsibilities.
What we are looking for
At least two years of front-of-house leadership experience in a full-service restaurant.
Experience as an assistant manager, floor manager, or supervisor who has independently led service.
Strong guest-service instincts and a calm, organized approach during busy shifts.
Confidence coaching employees and addressing performance issues.
Attention to detail, reliability, and clear communication.
Familiarity with Toast, reservation systems, and scheduling tools. Experience with 7shifts is a plus.
Interest in Mexican food, tequila, mezcal, and beverage service.
Availability for nights, weekends, holidays, and opening or closing shifts.
NYC Food Protection Certificate preferred.
