Project Manager

Summary

The Project Manager will lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring delivery on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with contractual and client expectations. This role is responsible for coordinating field and office teams, managing project financials, driving schedules, and maintaining strong relationships with owners, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders. The position requires a balance of technical construction knowledge, financial acumen, and leadership capability.

Responsibilities

• Manage full project lifecycle from preconstruction through closeout

• Develop and maintain project schedules, including critical path analysis and risk mitigation

• Oversee project financials including budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, cash flow, and billing (AIA pay applications)

• Lead change management process including documentation, tracking, pricing, and execution of subcontractor changes

• Support preconstruction activities including subcontractor buyout, procurement, scheduling, and job cost setup

• Participate in estimating efforts including scope reviews, bid support, and conceptual/schematic budgeting

• Coordinate and lead project teams including field supervision, subcontractors, and suppliers

• Provide clear direction, accountability, and performance feedback across project stakeholders

• Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies proactively

• Ensure compliance with company standards for safety, quality, and operational execution

• Maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication and issue resolution

• Align project execution with company goals, values, and operational standards

• Travel as required based on project demands

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

• 4–7 years of commercial construction project management experience

• Strong understanding of construction operations, scheduling, cost control, and contract administration

• Experience in commercial or industrial construction markets preferred

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively

• Strong communication and leadership skills across diverse teams and stakeholders

• Proficiency in project financial management and construction documentation processes

• Ability to proactively solve problems and drive project execution forward
