Salary: $97,000 - 137,000 per year Requirements:

  • Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent hands-on experience in robotics, automation, electrical engineering technology, mechatronics, or a related discipline.
  • Experience programming and troubleshooting FANUC robots, including Tool Handling applications.
  • Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs, Studio 5000, and HMI development and troubleshooting.
  • Experience integrating robotic systems with PLCs, HMIs, and external manufacturing equipment.
  • Working knowledge of industrial networking and communication protocols such as Ethernet/IP.
  • Strong diagnostic ability in electrical controls, automation systems, and robotics.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
  • Experience supporting automated brazing, welding, or thermal processing equipment.
  • Experience with Ignition SCADA and SQL Server database administration or development.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing recipe management and data collection systems.
  • Experience with vision systems, sensors, and industrial automation integration.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methods.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Adaptability in a changing work environment with competing priorities.
  • Ability to follow instructions and procedures while working with minimal supervision.
  • High school diploma or GED, or 1 year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to speak and understand basic safety and manufacturing instructions.
  • Ability to apply basic mathematical operations with decimals, multiplication, and division.
  • Ability to use common-sense reasoning to follow detailed instructions and solve straightforward problems.
  • Authorization to work in the United States and eligibility for any required U.S. government authorizations related to export control regulations.
Responsibilities:
  • Program, troubleshoot, and maintain FANUC robotic systems used in automated brazing operations.
  • Develop, modify, and improve FANUC Tool Handling applications and robot programs.
  • Set up and support communication between FANUC robots, external equipment, controls, and manufacturing systems.
  • Develop and maintain Allen-Bradley PLC and HMI applications using Studio 5000 and FactoryTalk.
  • Support integration across robot controllers, PLCs, HMIs, and peripheral equipment.
  • Diagnose electrical, mechanical, robotic, and control system issues to reduce downtime.
  • Manage recipe storage and retrieval systems using Ignition and SQL Server databases.
  • Assist with commissioning, testing, and validation of automation equipment and process enhancements.
  • Carry out preventative maintenance on robotic and automated systems.
  • Record programming changes, troubleshooting work, and system improvements.
  • Work with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to strengthen reliability, quality, and efficiency.
  • Operate equipment efficiently and safely while meeting quality standards.
  • Follow company personnel and product safety requirements.
  • Keep the work area clean and organized.
