Pay: $26.00/hour for shop work – NO travel required! Earn an additional $8.00/hour while traveling – bringing your rate to $34.00/hour! Overtime opportunities available All approved travel expenses covered Per diem provided while traveling Key responsibilities include performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on generators, load banks, power distribution equipment, transformers, and low-voltage cables. Diagnose mechanical and electrical equipment issues and perform major repairs. Dismantle, rebuild, and reassemble equipment as needed. Conduct preventive maintenance, safety inspections, and low-voltage quality control checks. Prepare rental equipment, including generators, AC/DC load banks, transformers, cables, and trailers. Operate hand tools, power tools, metering equipment, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other shop equipment. Fabricate parts and equipment to meet shop and customer needs. Accurately complete repair documentation and estimate repair time and costs. Qualifications: Mechanical, electrical, diesel, industrial maintenance, generator, or equipment repair experience is highly desirable Trade school graduates are encouraged to apply! Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills High school diploma or GED preferred Must be at least 23 years old Valid driver's license required Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) required Reliable transportation required Motivated candidates who want to expand their skills and learn specialized equipment are encouraged to apply!
