Retail Shift Leader

Retail Shift Leader (Key Holder) The Retail Shift Leader (Key Holder) is responsible for managing store operations, providing outstanding customer service, guiding sales and loan processing, coaching team members, and ensuring a courteous and respectful environment that sets EZPAWN apart from the competition. You will complete a 5‑week paid training program and may receive a $0.50 raise and transition to Lead Pawnbroker upon completion of the program. The role allows you to follow a structured career path, including an 6‑month Assistant Manager training program to build the foundation to run your own store. Key responsibilities include: Processing loans and extensions, and setting satisfactory terms for pawned items. Performing opening and closing store procedures. Supervising, coaching, and mentoring store team members. Promoting sales and creating wins for customers. Ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED. Minimum 1 year of supervisory, key holder, shift lead, team lead, or manager experience. Able to pass a criminal background check and drug test. Valid driver’s license and auto insurance. Strong organizational, time‑management, and prioritization skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Knowledge of commonly pawned items (tools, jewelry, firearms, electronics) is a plus. Sales background is a plus. Bilingual skills are a plus. Benefits: Free Health Insurance*. Competitive wages.
