Retail AssociateEaston Select Group is seeking a customer-focused and dependable Retail Associate to support daily retail operations and deliver an exceptional in-store customer experience across our pool and backyard leisure retail locations. This role is responsible for assisting customers with product selection, maintaining store organization, supporting inventory activities, and helping ensure the retail environment remains clean, organized, and welcoming.The Retail Associate works closely with Store Leadership, Operations, and Service teams to help customers find the right products and solutions to maintain safe, clean, and enjoyable pool environments. This position plays an important role in supporting customer satisfaction, store appearance, and daily operational success.The ideal candidate is friendly, reliable, team-oriented, and eager to learn about pool products, water care, and retail operations.Core ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service & Sales SupportGreet customers in a friendly, professional, and helpful mannerAssist customers with product selection, pool care questions, and general retail inquiriesProvide recommendations on pool chemicals, equipment, accessories, toys, and seasonal productsEducate customers on basic pool maintenance and product usage as neededPromote store programs, seasonal promotions, and service offerings when appropriateDeliver excellent customer service and maintain a positive shopping experienceRetail Operations & Store SupportOperate point-of-sale (POS) systems and process transactions accuratelyHandle cash, credit card transactions, returns, and exchanges responsiblyAssist with opening and closing procedures as assignedMaintain clean, organized, and fully stocked sales floors, checkout areas, and displaysSupport daily operational tasks to ensure efficient store functionalityInventory & MerchandisingReceive, unpack, organize, and stock inventory shipmentsEnsure products are properly labeled, displayed, and merchandised according to company standardsMonitor stock levels and communicate inventory needs or shortages to managementAssist with cycle counts, inventory organization, and seasonal product setupHelp maintain a clean, safe, and organized inventory and retail environmentTeam Collaboration & CommunicationWork collaboratively with store managers, service teams, and fellow associates to support customer and operational needsCommunicate customer feedback, operational concerns, and inventory needs to leadershipSupport a positive, team-oriented, and customer-focused work environmentAssist with additional operational or retail responsibilities during peak seasonal periodsMaintain professionalism during all customer and team interactionsSafety & ComplianceFollow company safety procedures related to retail operations and pool chemical handlingMaintain awareness of safe storage and handling practices for pool chemicals and suppliesEnsure retail and storage areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with company standardsSupport a safe environment for customers and employees at all timesQualificationsRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredPrevious customer service, retail, or sales experience preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsPositive attitude and customer-service-oriented mindsetAbility to work weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules during peak seasonsAbility to lift and carry 25–50 lbs including pool products, chemicals, and suppliesAbility to work in a fast-paced retail environmentPreferred QualificationsKnowledge of pool products, pool chemicals, or outdoor living products preferredExperience operating POS systems and handling retail transactions preferredInterest in learning pool water chemistry and product applications preferredExperience within seasonal retail or service-based industries is a plusSkills & CompetenciesCustomer service and communication skillsRetail sales and product supportOrganization and attention to detailTeam collaboration and adaptabilityInventory handling and merchandising supportProblem-solving and customer engagementReliability and professionalismAbout UsEaston Select Group is a Massachusetts-based company specializing in pool services and backyard leisure products.
