Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of hair styling services including cuts, trims, blowouts, and special occasion styles with precision and flair
• Execute professional barbering services such as straight razor shaves, beard trims, and classic cuts
• Utilize salon software SQUIRE for appointment scheduling, client management, and retail sales tracking
• Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by cleaning tools, stations, and ensuring compliance with health regulations
• Deliver exceptional customer service by actively listening to client needs, offering styling advice, and upselling retail products such as hair care items and cosmetics
• Assist with front desk duties including appointment bookings, check-ins/outs, and managing client flow
• Mentor junior team members in technical skills and customer service excellence to foster a collaborative environment

Experience

• Proven experience as a hairstylist or barber in a professional salon setting with a strong portfolio of work
• Knowledge of salon software systems SQUIRE or similar platforms for scheduling and sales management
• Expertise in barbering tools including straight razors; ability to perform precise shaves and beard grooming
• Strong understanding of sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and team members effectively
• Experience in retail sales with an aptitude for upselling products that complement styling services
• Ability to manage store operations or assist in store management tasks is a plus
