Dental Assistant in Training

Perform basic dental assisting tasks under the supervision of a licensed dentist. Contribute to delivering an exceptional patient experience by addressing patient needs and concerns. Follow infection control procedures for sterilization and operatory cleaning to ensure safety. Assist with radiographs and intra-oral imaging, adhering to radiation safety standards. Prepare for patient procedures, support chairside tasks, and facilitate patient handoff to the front desk. Instruct patients on postoperative and oral health care as directed by the dentist. Record patient charting and treatment notes in digital systems. Support patient care by presenting treatment records, consents, and health history to the dentist.
