Human Resources Generalist
Are you looking for a part-time HR Generalist role with a family-like Portland-based company? This 3-month Human Resources Generalist role might be the perfect fit!
This is for a well-known Portland manufacturer recognized for its craftsmanship, quality, and deep connection to the local community. Since 1976, the company has been producing premium bicycle components right here in Portland while maintaining a people-first, environmentally conscious culture.
This is an in-office opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on in HR and thrives in a close-knit, fast-moving environment.
The team is looking for an Human Resources Generalist who can confidently support employee relations and day-to-day HR communication while helping keep operations organized and running smoothly.
This is a part-time, 3-month temporary contract with the potential to transition into a long-term opportunity for the right fit.
Human Resources Generalist Job Duties:
- Handle employee relations with professionalism and confidentiality
- Support corrective actions, investigations, and terminations
- Process and verify I-9 documentation and onboarding paperwork
- Assist with benefits administration and employee questions
Schedule:
- Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 7-4:30pm
- 3 month commitment to position
Pay:
$35-40/HR
Human Resources Generalist Requirements:
- 1+ years of HR Generalist experience
- Experience handling LOA/FMLA and onboarding processes
- Experience with HRIS system
- Background working in manufacturing, industrial, or small business environments preferred
