Position Overview
We are seeking dependable and hardworking On-Call Dishwashers to support our food service and hospitality operations. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen. Candidates must be flexible and available to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
Key Responsibilities
- Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing areas, kitchen workstations, and storage areas.
- Operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Remove trash and recycling and maintain clean waste disposal areas.
- Assist with cleaning floors, walls, kitchen equipment, and food preparation areas.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
- Restock clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen supplies as needed.
- Support kitchen staff with general cleaning and organizational tasks.
- Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to management promptly.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support kitchen and event operations.
Qualifications
- Previous dishwashing, kitchen utility, or food service experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
