Work Location: Santa Monica, CA, USA Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 11pm - 7:30am Posted Date: 04/02/2026 Salary Range: $33.96 - 69.54 Hourly Employment Type: Indefinite Job #: 29667 Primary Duties and Responsibilities Sterile Supervisor of the Surgical Processing division requires outstanding communication and critical thinking skills. Incumbent has a strong clinical background to assist training of staff to perform duties as a Sterile Processing Technician to include: decontamination and/or processing of equipment and instrumentation, and distribution of supplies or equipment, as assigned within UCLA Healthcare. Orients, supervises and evaluates Surgical Processing Instrument Technicians. Ability to consistently apply standards and achieve successful outcomes related to all types of sterilization practices for multiple departments within the hospital. The position also oversees high level disinfection (HLD), sterilization, storage and transport for offsite ambulatory clinics, and other departments of the hospital. Job Qualifications Certification as a Surgical Technician Certified Instrument Specialist (CIS) Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) Certified Healthcare Leader in SPD (CHLSPD) High School Diploma Preferred Certification As a condition of employment, the final candidate who accepts an offer of employment will be required to disclose if they have been subject to any final administrative or judicial decisions within the last seven years determining that they committed any misconduct; or have filed an appeal of a finding of substantiated misconduct with a previous employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr UCLA Health
