Job Title: Surgical Technologist - CVOR - Wellstar Kennestone Regional Medical Center - Surgical Technologist
Hourly Pay Rate: $40.20


Job Description:
We are seeking a qualified Surgical Technologist with experience in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) procedures to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in surgical operations, ensure a sterile environment, and collaborate with healthcare team members to provide exceptional patient care. This position involves a 3X12 days shift schedule, including two late shifts per week, and requires on-call responsibilities one night per week and one weekend every four weeks.


Key Qualifications:

• Certify in one of the following: BLS (Basic Life Support), ARC-BLS, BLS-I (Instructor), CST (Certified Surgical Technologist), TS-C (NCCT), CSFA, or CSA.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent; Surgical Technology certification preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare providers and delegate tasks appropriately.
• Capable of multitasking, functioning under stress, and handling emergency situations with strong attention to detail.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Word and Excel.
• Critical thinking skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
