Position Description Ryder is immediately hiring for Permanent Full Time Warehouse Clerk in Plainfield, Illinois. Pay Hourly Pay: $21.50 per hour Shift premium: $0.50 per hour Schedule: Thursday - Saturday: 5:30 AM - 5:30 PM plus every other Wednesday (5:30 AM - 5:30 PM) Benefits Warehouse Positions Pay Each Week On the Job Paid Training Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 K etc. Start at 30 Days Paid Time Off 401 K company match High valued stock at 15% Employee Discount Employee Discounts on Tools, Cars, Hotels, Electronics/Appliances, Cell Phones, Travel, and more Safety Gear Provided Safety is Always the First Priority State of the Art Equipment and Caring Leadership Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent One (1) year or more clerical or warehouse experience preferred One (1) year or more experience operating forklift equipment preferred One (1) year or more Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) preferred Strong verbal and written communication skills Demonstrates customer service skills Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization Ability to work independently and as a member of a team Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast‑paced environment Capable of multi‑tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices Responsibilities Coordinates activities with clerks from other floor areas, the customer and/or other suppliers as needed Using the location’s WMS system updates area or shift metrics as needed Generates daily, weekly or monthly reports, memos, and summaries often of a technical and/or confidential nature Floor work and additional duties as assigned Performs basic administrative tasks for area or shift.
