Contract | Travel | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (0700–1930) | 3x12's | 36 Hours Guaranteed Weekly | 13-Week Assignment | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 16-bed Cardiac Critical Care Unit with patient ratios of 1:1, 1:2, or 1:3
• Manage ventilated patients with respiratory therapy support
• Titrate vasoactive drips and monitor hemodynamic status for critically ill cardiac patients
• Operate and monitor specialized equipment including Arctic Sun, temporary pacemakers, and Swan-Ganz catheters
• Care for post-cath STEMI and NSTEMI patients, direct admits from outside facilities, and medical ICU overflow
• Float to other units as first priority during low census situations

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2–3 years of critical care experience
• Demonstrated experience with ventilator management (with RT support) and titratable vasoactive drips
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Proficiency with Epic EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with cardiac critical care patient populations including post-cath STEMIs and NSTEMIs
• Familiarity with Swan-Ganz catheter monitoring and Arctic Sun temperature management systems
• Experience in a high-acuity ICU or CCU setting
