Surgical Tech - Certified Surg Tech

Certified Surgical Technician (CST)This position is a backfill contract for a Certified Surgical Technician in the operating room for a 13-week duration. Call is required for 4 to 5 shifts per 6-week period minimum and 4 to 5 late shifts per 6-week period. Weekends are available. The unit has 22 operating rooms and is staffed by 80 personnel. The patient ratio is 1:1. The operating room team works collaboratively to ensure high-quality patient care. Common procedures performed include appendectomies, cholecystectomies, spine fusions, total joints, craniotomies, mastectomies, and DIEP flaps. Candidates should be flexible, work well in a team, be self-directed, and maintain a positive attitude. Closed-toe, heeled, non-slip shoes are required. The scrub color is provided by the facility.
