Job Title: Project Manager
Location: Whitsett, NC 27377 (Onsite)
Duration: 12-Month Contract – Potential for Permanent
Pay Range: $40-$60/hour on W2
Shift: 1st Shift, Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Project Manager to lead projects from initiation through implementation and closure. The role will support New Product Introduction (NPI), manufacturing transfers, capacity expansion, automation, process improvement, and manufacturing readiness while coordinating cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead manufacturing projects, managing scope, timelines, budgets, resources, milestones, and deliverables.
• Coordinate NPI, manufacturing transfers, production ramp-ups, and capacity expansion initiatives.
• Ensure manufacturing readiness, including equipment, tooling, documentation, staffing, and training.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement, Planning, and global teams.
• Identify project risks, dependencies, and issues and develop mitigation plans.
• Track KPIs related to cost, quality, delivery, productivity, and project performance.
• Facilitate project meetings and communicate status and progress to leadership.
• Drive Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, automation, and continuous-improvement initiatives.
• Support digital manufacturing and Industry 4.0 projects and promote operational best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
• 5–8 years of manufacturing experience.
• 3–5 years of project management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing NPI, automation, facility expansion, process improvement, or manufacturing transformation projects.
• Experience working with global and cross-functional teams.
• Strong project planning, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• MBA or Master’s degree is preferred.
