Yard Forklift Operator
Richburg, SC Full-Time Looking for a forklift role with competitive pay and long-term career potential? Join a growing manufacturing team and help move, load, and store precast concrete products in a fast-paced industrial yard environment.
What You'll Do
Operate large-capacity forklifts to transport finished products throughout the yard Load outbound trailers according to shipping schedules and load plans Unload incoming deliveries and store materials properly Safely handle and move concrete products without damage Assist with inventory control and locating products for shipment Maintain an organized, clean, and safe yard environment Work closely with drivers, plant personnel, and supervisors Follow all safety policies, PPE requirements, and traffic-control procedures
What We're Looking For
23 years of forklift, yard, or material-handling experience Experience operating large-capacity forklifts preferred Manufacturing, construction, or industrial experience a plus Ability to work safely outdoors in all weather conditions Strong communication and teamwork skills Basic knowledge of shipping documents and load securement Reliable attendance and strong safety mindset
Work Environment
- Primarily outdoor industrial work
- Exposure to weather, dust, heavy equipment, and machinery
- Fast-paced production environment
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- PPE required, including steel-toe boots, hard hats, safety glasses, hearing protection, and high-visibility gear
