Leasing Consultant Essential Duties & Responsibilities Perform property leasing and administration tasks. Attend the property daily as required. Show, lease, and move in prospective residents; greet, qualify, tour, and sign leases. Handle all functions necessary to close a lease, including scheduling appointments, generating new leads, conducting tours, maintaining model units, and following up as needed. Complete all leasing paperwork before move‑in. Assist with lease audits, walk‑throughs, and the turn‑around process. Maintain accurate prospect traffic and leasing data, responding to leads within 24 hours. Use established sales and marketing strategies to increase property traffic, maintain closing ratios, and work to exceed leasing goals. Perform various administrative tasks as needed. Address resident complaints, concerns, and requests to ensure satisfaction. Help develop and implement resident retention programs (e.g., resident functions, special promotions, monthly newsletter). Contribute to general upkeep and cleaning of office, common areas, and model units. Assist in implementing the annual marketing plan outreach. Review and help complete market surveys/analyses continually to generate ideas and formulate plans. Maintain thorough product knowledge of the property, competition, and market conditions; complete weekly market survey reports. Manage excellent customer service and monitor service request turnaround and responsiveness. Project a favorable image of the community to achieve property objectives and public recognition. Ensure consistency in dealing with residents on all matters. Enforce community policies as delegated by the immediate supervisor. Education & Experience High School Diploma or Equivalent. Basic computer skills required; must understand all on‑site software functions. Basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements. Physical Requirements Regular movement and communication tasks, including repetitive motions of wrists, hands, and fingers. Frequent use of ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, step stools, and the ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods. Occasional lifting or moving of objects up to 25 lbs., operating machinery or power tools, operating vehicles or golf carts, and working in various environmental settings including outdoors and in confined spaces. Ability to work overtime, weekends, and night hours, and to tolerate extreme temperatures and hazards. Salary Range: $21 per hour to $22 per hour At Asset Living, compensation decisions are based on factors such as skill set, background, and training.
