Contract Analyst Supervisor

Community Solutions is hiring a full‑time Contract Analyst Supervisor to work in our Windsor, CT corporate office. The role is focused on coaching, oversight, and supervision of Contract Analysts while providing direct support in monitoring agency contracts, building funder budgets, and generating reporting and billing as required. The supervisor will also assist the Director of Contracts with RFP responses and the re‑procurement of existing contracts. Contracts Essential Functions Coordinate with departmental staff to ensure financial strategies are properly executed. Maintain a working knowledge of Agency Contracts and abide by compliance policies. Provide coaching and training to Contract Analysts on funding source requirements, internal and external budget preparation, and related duties. Assist in the development of internal annual operating and capital budgets; support budget input into the accounting system. Develop budgets, forecasts, and analysis with program/department managers. Support the Finance department in billing, reporting, and financial analysis, forecasting, and monthly close. Improve internal controls and ensure timely and accurate reporting of the agencies financial position. Assist programs with contract‑related requests. Negotiate and maintain vendor agreements. Prepare quarterly financial reports to various funding sources. Reconcile monthly/quarterly reports from Human Resources, Payroll, and Accounting. Prepare internal and external budget revisions as directed. Work on RFP budgets with the Development team as needed. Maintain integrity of existing contracts and assist in contract renewal preparation. Track contract amendments, budgets, and quarterly reporting. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Accounts Receivable Act as first reviewer of billing before it is passed for signature. Provide coaching and training to Contract Analysts on funding source requirements, HIPAA regulation, and related duties. Maintain accounts receivable subsidiary ledgers and perform related administrative functions. Verify funding source billing requirements and maintain eligibility parameters. Maintain a working knowledge of and abide by Agency programs, policies, and procedures. Prepare, process, audit, and test invoicing for government and non‑government contracts. Document and detail accounts receivable transaction activity in well‑maintained records. Post payments, credit memos, and adjustments. Monitor timely payment of receivables. Prepare audit workpapers as assigned. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Qualifications What We’re Looking For Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting with at least three (3) years of contracts or accounting experience. Strong financial modeling and forecasting expertise with a proven record of building and creating budgets and reports from the ground up. Demonstrated organizational skills and strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently on complex issues, conduct research, and apply problem‑solving skills. Adaptability to changing priorities. General understanding of various business models and application of financial planning and analysis skills. Working knowledge of Blackbaud FENXT, Ramp, and Planning Budget systems. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel. Nonprofit experience preferred.
