Looking for a steady, hands-on job where you can stay active and be part of a team? Join us in Stanley, NY as a Sorter and play an important role in keeping recyclable materials moving through our facility and out of the waste stream.

As a Sorter, you'll help ensure recyclable materials are properly identified, sorted, and directed to the right location. It's a hands-on role that makes a meaningful contribution to our daily operations and environmental goals.

What You'll Do

You'll work alongside a team to inspect and sort recyclable materials as they move along a conveyor belt. You'll use attention to detail and good judgment to identify materials based on type, size, condition, and grade.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Efficiently and accurately sort assigned recyclable materials.

• Inspect materials as they move along the conveyor belt.

• Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe.

• Perform general housekeeping and cleaning around plant equipment.

• Immediately report equipment or system issues to your Supervisor.

• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.

• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.

• Complete initial safety training and participate in monthly safety training.

• Maintain reliable attendance and a strong safety record.

• Work cooperatively with team members to meet facility goals.

• Perform additional duties as needed to support facility operations.

• Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality.

• Successfully complete required pre-employment testing.

• Be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
