ITC Associate FA26

The Instructional Technology Center (ITC) serves to offer technology assistance and support to students, faculty, and staff in the College of Education, Sport, and Human Sciences (CESHS). Graduate Associate positions assist with the daily operations of the ITC, including managing the front desk, working with other students, and assisting the ITC Director with special projects. The ITC Graduate Associates work primarily out of the ITC and are scheduled by the ITC Director to meet the needs of as many CESHS patrons as possible. Duties and Responsibilities Delegate daily tasks and special projects to student workers Supervise student workers to ensure efficiency of task completion and expectations for performance are being met Assist ITC Director in the creation and presentation of professional development materials and sessions Assist ITC Director in the creation of materials and presentation of lessons for CESHS classes Maintain monthly report of ITC equipment and services provided for the ITC Director to compile into an annual report Participate in weekly meetings with the ITC Director to determine needs and a task list for upcoming weeks Assist with scheduling students and activities in the ITC Work with faculty and staff as they have technology issues in their offices or classrooms Train student workers on technology equipment and concepts Assist with research of technology tools for educational use Qualifications Familiar with Microsoft Office applications Ability to successfully work within a team environment Strong communication skills Strong customer service skills Preferred Skills Strong leadership skills Ability to troubleshoot technology problems Additional technology skills are appreciated but not necessary as many skills are learned on the job #J-18808-Ljbffr Winthrop University
