Job Summary Neonatologist - Level III NICU - Philadelphia, PA - Academic Appointment St. Christophers Hospital for Children is recruiting a full-time BC/BE Neonatologist to join our team. As part of a multi-disciplinary and clinically integrated team you will provide care to the patients within our affiliated Level III NICU and Academic Medical Center in Philadelphia . Highlights: Work in the Level III NICU at Temple Women & Families, a newly designed, state-of-the-art 42-bed NICU. Temple Women and Families is the only campus in the Philadelphia area exclusively dedicated to womens and families health. Approximately 2,500 deliveries a year and 400 NICU admissions. Caring for babies as young as 23 weeks gestation 2 Neonatologists and 1 Physician Assistant - day shift, 1 Neonatologist and 1 Physician Assistant - night shift, NICU certified RNs, Social Workers, Nutritionists and tenured support staff. 24/7 Neonatal Physician Assistants in NICU to provide support Newborn Nursery is staffed by pediatricians. The division has a strong commitment to quality improvement work and participates in the Vermont Oxford Network. This strong team-based approach focuses on providing the highest level of quality care and delivers excellent health outcomes that exceed the national average for critically ill newborns each year.
