Luxury Showroom Sales & Design Consultant

Sell the products that make a luxury home feel effortless. Distinctive Window Treatment Plus and Distinctive Home Automation is a Flatiron showroom for luxury window treatments, architectural and decorative lighting, audio/video, and smart home technology. Interior designers, architects, builders and discerning homeowners bring us their most important projects. We're hiring a sales and design consultant to grow that business, and we're hiring now.

What you'll do:

• Sell directly to designers, architects, builders and homeowners, and build a book of business that is yours.
• Guide clients from first consultation through ordering, production, delivery and installation.
• Find the next client through outreach, trade networking, referrals, social media and showroom events.
• Run product presentations and client events that make our showroom a place the NYC design trade wants to visit.
• Keep the showroom sharp: displays, samples, and a welcoming experience from the moment someone walks in.

What we're looking for:

• Proven sales results in luxury residential products, with numbers you can talk about.
• Existing relationships with NYC interior designers, architects or builders.
• Comfort with high-ticket, custom, project-based sales.
• Polished communication and strong follow-through.
• Interest in lighting, window treatments, AV or smart home.

What you'll get:

• $80K$100K base salary, depending on experience, plus uncapped commission.
