Attentive Care is a licensed, CHAP-accredited home health care agency dedicated to helping clients remain safe and independent in their own homes. We provide compassionate in-home nursing and caregiver services, including Home Health Aides (HHAs) and Personal Care Aides (PCAs), across the Capital Region of New York.

As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in supporting clients with daily living needs and fostering their well-being and independence. You will be part of a collaborative care team, delivering personalized assistance and ensuring a safe, comfortable environment for those you serve.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping tasks
• Provide companionship and safety supervision to clients
• Run errands and assist with transportation as needed
• Document care provided and communicate changes in client status to the care team

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Recent experience working through a licensed home care agency
• Fluent English communication skills (read, write, and speak)
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Reliable transportation to client homes throughout the service area

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience providing in-home assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) and personal care
• Ability to follow care plans and basic infection-control practices
• Experience communicating client status changes to a care team
• Valid NYS PCA certificate verifiable on the NYS Home Care Registry
• Bilingual skills in languages commonly used by clients
• Ability to travel to client homes throughout the service area
• Willingness and ability to drive/transport clients as part of assignments
• Availability for days, evenings, overnight, and weekend shifts
