This attorney will independently manage sophisticated business disputesfrom initial filing through trial.This opportunity is well suited for a capable litigator who is equally effective in the courtroom and on the page. Thesuccessful candidate will develop litigation strategy, handle complex commercial matters, and produce clear, persuasivewritten advocacy while working collaboratively with senior partners and litigation support staff.Key ResponsibilitiesIndependently manage commercial and business litigation matters from case inception through final resolution and trial.Take and defend depositions and argue contested motions and hearings.Lead matters through mediations, arbitrations, and trials.Draft persuasive pleadings, dispositive motions, appellate briefs, discovery requests, and legal correspondence.Review and analyze complex contracts, corporate records, financial documents, and other key evidence.Prepare witnesses, organize exhibits, and structure evidence for hearings and trials.Advise clients regarding litigation risks, strategy, developments, and available courses of action.Collaborate closely with senior partners and litigation support staff while remaining accountable for an independent caseload.Additional InformationThis position offers substantial involvement in sophisticated business disputes with meaningful first-chair or second-chair trial responsibilities. The firm provides a collaborative environment that values attorney autonomy and strategic input. Hybrid flexibility is available, combining remote work with scheduled in-office days at the Texas office for case strategy sessions, meetings, and hearings.RequirementsActive Texas Bar license in good standing required.Additional state bar admissions are a plus.Substantial hands-on experience handling commercial, business, or other high-stakes civil litigation.Proven trial experience involving complex cases, discovery, contested hearings, and final verdicts.Strong courtroom presence and oral advocacy skills.Exceptional legal research and writing ability, including the ability to independently draft sophisticated legal arguments.Strong strategic judgment and negotiation skills.High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and matters under pressure.
