Position Title: Security Officer Patrol Operations Location: Bondurant, IA Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.80 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM Tue: 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM Wed: 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM Sat: 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM Sun: 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions. Monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support access control procedures for staff, guests, and/or deliveries in accordance with site protocols. Assist with reporting, note-taking, and communication related to policy concerns, facility issues, and/or customer service needs during assigned shifts. Minimum Requirements Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. is preferred. CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
