Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse specialized in Correctional Health. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a correctional setting. Experience in urgent care, emergency room, and behavioral health is preferred. Must be willing to learn and adapt to the needs of the facility. The role requires the ability to float between two different locations that are 1.5 miles apart. Floating will not occur on the same shift. Weekend coverage is required. Key skills include: - Use of rapid response/code teams - Peripheral line care/management - Nasal cannula and non-invasive airway management - Oxygen administration and management of oxygen tanks - Wound care/wound vac application - Phlebotomy and IV management - Substance withdrawal management - Oral suctioning The facility has a daily census of approximately 120 adults. Interdisciplinary support is available, including interpretation services and rapid response teams. Candidates must possess strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
