Material Handler

Job Description

Hire Up Staffing is seeking a dependable and motivated Material Handler for a client in Albuquerque, NM.


Pay Rate:
$17.00 per hour


Schedule:
• Monday - Friday
• 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM


Job Responsibilities:
• Work independently to load, unload, and move materials within or near the worksite
• Utilize RF scanners and devices to fill orders and issue materials and supplies
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, cherry pickers, walking riders, reach trucks, EZGo carts, hand trucks, and dollies
• Accurately pick, pack, and ship customer orders
• Maintain inventory accuracy and support inventory management processes
• Adhere to all safety and security policies and procedures
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
• Demonstrate reliability and a strong work ethic while meeting productivity goals


Requirements:
• Previous warehouse and material handling experience preferred
• Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Basic math skills and ability to accurately count inventory
• Ability to read labels, tickets, and product documentation
• Ability to lift, push, carry, and move packages weighing up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift in varying warehouse temperatures
