Phlebotomist Contract OpportunityWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist to join our healthcare team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting blood specimens, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining high standards of safety and accuracy. This role may require working at multiple clinical locations based on patient care needs.Position DetailsPhlebotomist- Anaconda MTLocation: Anaconda MTProject Duration: 13 weeksShift: 10 hour shifts - variable hoursPay Rate: $25-$27/hrKey ResponsibilitiesPerform venipuncture and capillary blood collection for patients of all ages.Accurately label, process, and transport specimens following established protocols.Verify patient identity and explain collection procedures to ensure patient comfort.Maintain specimen integrity and comply with infection control and safety standards.Enter and maintain accurate patient and specimen information in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.Prepare and maintain phlebotomy equipment and supplies.Collaborate with laboratory staff, nurses, and healthcare providers to support quality patient care.Assist with maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.Travel between assigned clinical locations as needed.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Completion of an accredited Phlebotomy training program preferred.Current Phlebotomy certification (if required by state regulations).Previous phlebotomy experience in a hospital, outpatient, or clinical setting preferred.Strong knowledge of specimen collection, handling, and laboratory safety procedures.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient care skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.Flexibility to work variable shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.RequiredEPIC experience.To discuss this amazing opportunity, reach out to our Talent Acquisition Specialist Bhumika Mehani at View email address on click.appcast.io or can be reached on View phone number on click.appcast.io.About generis tek: generis tek is a boutique it/professional staffing based in Chicago land.
