As a Security Officer Access Management in Sidney, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location where you will manage access control, monitor activity, and help support a secure environment through visible presence, routine patrols, and strong communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to all visitors, drivers, and associates by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, maintain visitor and vehicle logs, and help to deter unauthorized access to the facility.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to post orders and Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, gate areas, loading and receiving zones, parking areas, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Support security-related operations by observing site activity, reporting unusual conditions, and communicating with site contacts regarding deliveries, shipments, and/or access-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
