Part-Time Bookkeeper
LOCATION
Southlake, TX | Onsite
COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
• $25.00–$30.00 per hour
• 20–25 hours per week (anticipated Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday schedule to start)
• Part-Time, W-2
• Opportunity to transition into a full-time position based on business needs and performance
ROLE IMPACT
Join a well-established CPA firm where you'll play a key role in keeping client financial records accurate, organized, and up to date. This position supports the firm's day-to-day accounting operations while providing exceptional service to clients. Success in this role comes from attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a professional office environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintain client bookkeeping records using accounting software and established procedures.
• Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Assist with monthly financial reporting and general ledger maintenance.
• Organize financial documentation and communicate with clients to obtain needed information.
• Support CPAs with accounting projects and other administrative accounting duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience performing bookkeeping functions in a CPA firm, accounting firm, or similar professional environment.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and communication skills.

• Cloud-based document management systems
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Experience supporting multiple client accounts simultaneously.
• Knowledge of payroll processing and sales tax reporting.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a small team.
