Vaco Atlanta is hiring a Senior Buyer for a globally backed manufacturing leader where your sourcing strategy, supplier partnerships, and operational decision-making will directly support production, innovation, and business growth. Role: Senior Buyer Location: Conyers Onsite: 100% onsite Job Type: Permanent Pay: $80,000 - $90,000 annually What You’ll Do: Own purchasing and sourcing for raw materials, components, and production-related supplies Manage supplier relationships, pricing negotiations, contracts, and performance metrics Partner cross-functionally with production, engineering, quality, finance, and warehouse teams to keep operations moving Monitor inventory, shortages, and KPIs to proactively solve supply chain challenges Drive continuous improvement initiatives around cost savings, supplier performance, and process optimization What We’re Looking For: 8 years of purchasing/sourcing experience in a manufacturing environment Strong supplier negotiation, contract management, and cost reduction experience Hands-on ERP/MRP experience with inventory planning and demand management Proven ability to support plant operations and make data-driven decisions Advanced Excel skills; VISUAL/Oracle ERP experience a plus Lean, APICS (CPIM/CSCP), or supplier development experience is highly valued What’s in It for You: Medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) Stable direct-hire opportunity with a respected global organization Collaborative team environment with real influence on operational success Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
